- Despite having upgrades, at the end of the Robots Movie storybook, the robots are described to have played the most beautiful music without a single upgrade, but Cappy herself is one of the robots the book was referring to.
- Her name is not to be confused with Mario's Cap (from the 2017 video game Super Mario Odyssey) of the same name.
- Despite being Rodney's love interest, Rodney is referred to as a 'kid', whereas Cappy literally has one of the highest positions of power in Robot City being a member of the Bigweld Industries board. Now unless she's a teen success story, this has to mean that Cappy is much older than Rodney. Some say a more suitable love interest would've been Piper.
- In a scene which only appeared in previews, Cappy actually purposely kicks Ratchet twice, meaning there could have been a confrontation scene between the two.
- Idina Menzel, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Aniston, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Samantha Mathis, Jennifer Tilly, Julianna Margulies, Cameron Diaz, Mandy Moore, Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Anne Hathaway were all considered for the role of Cappy.
- Following the trivia above, this scene's removal causes her character to unfortunately have no strong importance to the film and be nothing else but Rodney's love interest.
- In a deleted scene and the DVD it's revealed that Cappy's father is a vacuum cleaner and her mother was at the attachments. Meaning unlike, Loretta she isn't from a rich family.
- Cappy was planned to be the spoiled daughter of Bigweld during one point in production.
