- The Super Sweepers seem to have voices unlike regular Sweepers, which can be heard when two Super Sweepers get their eyes covered from plungers, and when one opens it's mouth a scene after.
- The concept design for the Sweeper shows it as a much more monstrous machine. It has three slit eyes, with two serving as headlights. It's larger, and has two brush appendages to sweep up outmodes, hence its name.
- The High-End Sweepers model is primarily based off of a vacuum cleaner nozzle, and parts of Ratchet.
- A scrapped character named Zinc, was originally going to be used as a way to show how dangerous a sweeper could actually be. Zinc shows up after Fender loses an eye. He sticks around, hearing Crank's nervous ramblings about the Sweepers, and decides to leave in order to play a prank on the Rusties. He pretends to be caught by a Sweeper, and once the other bots leave, he actually gets caught by a Sweeper.
